1st Brazilian Congress of Crocodilians
August 14 and 15, 2021
Welcome to the 1st Congress of Brazilian Crocodilians (CBCroc)!
The Marcos Daniel Institute (IMD), the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and the Organizing Committee of the 1st Brazilian Congress of Crocodilians in Brazil are pleased to invite the entire community interested in the study and conservation of Brazilian alligators to participate in the 1st CB Croc, which will take place between August 14 and 15, 2021, in the format free and online.
The theme of this congress will be "Scientific plurality in the name of conservation" , which highlights the union of different professions in favor of the preservation of alligators in Brazil.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Aiming at the inclusion of society in environmental issues, the 1st Brazilian Congress of Crocodilians in Brazil will be a completely free event, broadcast by the Marcos Daniel Institute's Youtube channel together with researchers from the crocodilian universe from all over Brazil between the 14th and 15th of August 2021.
In addition, all content will be available on the channel indefinitely.
If the participant wants the event certificate, the Marcos Daniel Institute will charge a symbolic amount of R$20.00 for students and R$40.00 for professionals from other areas, which will be reverted into actions for the conservation of wildlife in partnership with the Project Ecocaiman in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to environmental education initiatives in schools in the metropolitan region of Vitória - ES.
